Matan Companies Signs 111,368 SF Lease at Riverside Research Park in Frederick, MD

Matan Companies announced today the execution of a long-term lease agreement for 111,368 square feet at 8484 Progress Drive, Frederick, MD.
“Riverside is a one-of-a-kind asset which uniquely couples a brand new, world class, high-bay manufacturing and R&D space, with multi–story Class A office,” said Brad Benna of the Matan Companies. “Frederick is no longer just a nice outer rim suburb destination. It now stands on its own, with a seemingly ever-growing list of top tier multi-national corporations calling it home, and Riverside fully embodies this dynamic.”
With the signing of this lease Matan checks off a sizable chunk of the project. Even still, 8484 Progress Drive and its adjoining property 8480 Progress Drive, offer 280,000 square feet of remaining availability in multiple buildings. Each space offers maximum flexibility, catering to a wide variety of office, R&D, and other technology-focused users. Beyond its unique building features, the project is further enhanced by its picturesque campus setting, offering ample, free surfaced parking with a host of outdoor amenities, multiple gazebos, and over five miles of walking trails. It does this all while still being ideally and centrally located in the heart of the City and County of Frederick, Maryland.
Matan Companies was represented in the deal by Brad Benna, and the tenant was represented by Tim Shanklin of Tyler Duncan Real Estate.
