The Matan Companies Packs 2,500 Food Bags to Support Local Children Through Blessings in a Backpack

The Matan Companies proudly announced that its employees came together yesterday to pack 2,500 bags of food for Blessings in a Backpack Frederick Chapter, a nonprofit dedicated to providing weekend meals for children who might otherwise go hungry.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that Matan has partnered with Blessings in a Backpack, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates. The initiative helps ensure that children facing food insecurity have access to nutritious meals outside of school hours.

Employees from across the organization volunteered their time and energy, working together to assemble thousands of food bags that will directly benefit local students in need.
