Matan's Wedgewood West Wins FCBIA Award for Best Commercial Project

The Matan Companies’ Wedgewood West Industrial Park, recently received a nod from the Frederick County Builders Association (FCBIA) as the “Best Commercial Project” in the Land Development Division, an honor bestowed on the project as part of the association’s annual Awards of Excellence.

Matan began construction on the 6-building, 675,000 square foot project in December of 2015 and is currently in Phase III of development. Located at the corner of New Design Road and English Muffin Way in Frederick, Wedgewood West features 30’ clear warehouses, with modern, state-of-the-art, tilt-up concrete and upgraded exterior features, including stone accented façades.

“While we are excited and honored to receive this award from the FCBIA, I must acknowledge the collaborative work from Nutec Group, our Architect, and Morgan Keller, our builder, all who made the vision of this project come to life,” said Karl Morris, Director of Development for the Matan Companies.
